Vixie is the most beautiful girl with the sweetest personality to match! She came to us from animal control in terrible shape. She was so skinny, frail, and covered in open sores. She has thrived in her foster home. She lives with several other dogs of all sizes and does well with everyone. She also lives with two dog savy cats and does okay but will give them a chase every now and then. She is a smart girl and listens and does great with correction. She is guesstimated to be around 4 years old and weighs 47 pounds. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, recently treated for heartworms, and on prevention. She does good in a kennel and walks well on a leash. So far she does pretty good with house training. I do not believe she was a house dog prior to rescue but she has caught on quick. As long as she is taken out consistently she does not have accidents. She loves her dog bed, toys, and belly rubs. She is really a terrific dog. We believe she is a boxer/Staffordshire terrier mix but that is strictly a guess on our end. She has a big under bite and a wrinkled snout. She also has a docked tail. I'm including a couple pics of when she first came into rescue as well. She is currently in a foster home here in Shreveport Louisiana but we adopt often to the Northeast and transport can easily be arranged.
