Flipper is a beautiful 5 month old puppy looking for her forever home.  She is like any puppy, loves to play hard and sleep hard; but she is not as high energy as most puppies.  Flipper is good with cats, dogs of all shapes & sizes and all humans.  She is quite the little cuddler too and would love someone who will let her lounge on the couch & share their bed.  Flipper is a petite dog weighing in at 30lbs and should remain a medium size dog.  Flipper is a happy go lucky pup and has a great personality.  She would make a great addition to any family.  

  She was born with a condition known as Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy (HOD).  It is a orthopedic developmental disorder that can cause limping, pain and swelling of a dogs joints.  This disorder is common in weimaraners, which we believe she is mixed with.  When we first rescued Flipper, her little foot was struggling to straighten.  She has been splinted numerous times and as she has grown, the leg looks  normal.  This condition is managed by keeping her at an ideal weight and taking joint supplements.  HOD certainly doesn't slow her down.
